Questions

What is a .onion address?

A .onion address is a Tor onion service. It only resolves inside the Tor network, hides the server's location, and encrypts traffic end to end without relying on certificate authorities.

How do I open an onion link?

Install Tor Browser from torproject.org, then open the link or paste the address into its address bar. Normal browsers cannot open .onion addresses.

How do I know these onion addresses are real?

Each address was copied from the organisation's own website, linked under Source on its card. Fake onion addresses are a common phishing trick, so compare the address with that source page before you trust it.

Is the up/down status live?

No. Status is checked over Tor when the site is built and shown with its check time. It can be out of date.
