How it's measured
- Latency: 1 warmup + 8 round-trips to Cloudflare's edge; median reported, warmup discarded. Fewer than 3 successful samples → no claim.
- Jitter: mean absolute difference between consecutive latency samples (RFC 3550-style).
- Download: 8 parallel streams × 2 MB (16 MB), total bytes ÷ wall time. Cache-busted; startup transients included conservatively.
- Upload: one 8 MB generated payload, total bytes ÷ wall time. Discarded by the endpoint; nothing stored.
- Quality: latency-led grade (excellent < 20 ms, good < 50 ms, fair < 150 ms), capped by download throughput, jitter can only downgrade one step.
